How To Eat Out Without Ruining Your Progress

You can eat at restaurants and still reach your goals.

You just need a system - not willpower.

The Problem With Eating Out

Restaurant meals are designed to taste exceptional, not to support your body. They use more oil, butter, salt, and sugar than you would ever use at home. Portions are larger. Calories are hidden.

A single restaurant meal can easily contain 1,200-1,500 calories - without you realising it.

The Framework

Protein first. Build the meal around a solid protein source - steak, chicken, fish, eggs. Order it grilled, baked, or roasted, not fried or crumbed.

Add vegetables. Most restaurant plates are light on vegetables. Order a side salad or extra vegetables. Fill half your plate with them.

Be careful with the extras. Sauces, dressings, and oils are where the hidden calories live. Ask for dressing on the side. Use less than you are given.

Choose one indulgence, not three. Have the bread, or the dessert, or the drink - not all three. Pick the one that matters most to you and enjoy it.

Stop at satisfied, not stuffed. Restaurant portions are sized for overeating. Eat slowly, stop when you are satisfied, and take the rest home.

The Bigger Picture

One meal does not define your progress. What defines your progress is what you do the other 20 meals of the week.

Eat out, enjoy it, and return to your normal structure the next meal. No guilt. No starvation the next day to compensate. Just consistency.
